What kind of low maintenance tropical fish would you recommend for a small 5 gallon aquarium?

I inherited a small 5 gallon “Eclipse” aquarium with water heater/filter included,the only problem I have is deciding what hardy tropical fish to purchase.It needs to be a hardy,low maintenance,colorful ,small in size.
