Mini Aquarium Tank
2.5 gallon mini aquarium for a betta?
A friend of mine gave me a female betta as a present because he didn’t know that it cannot live together with my male betta on its 10 gallon tank.
Right now she is in a 0.6 gallon bowl and i just feel sorry about her. Right now I can’t afford anything bigger than a 2.5 gallon mini aquarium (with filter). I know it’s better to have 5+ tank but i just can’t afford it. Is it bad to put her in a 2.5 gallon tank?
The 2.5g will do, as long as its cycled as well as filtered and has good weekly maintenance. It’s definitely an improvement on the poor thing’s current environment!
Save up and you can upgrade her to a 5-10g in future.
