For anyone that knows about aquarium filters, can you answer this question?

If you have 2 filters that are for 20-40 gallon tanks, how good of a filtration will you get if you put 2 of them on a 36 gallon tank?

I got 2 of those Aqua-Tech 20-40 gallon filters on my 36 gallon tank and was wondering am I getting a good filtration going.

Minimum turnover is 4-5 times per hour, for 36 gallon tank that would be 144-180 gph. Rated flow for a 20-40 is 160 gph, so one would be sufficient for the minimum turnover, 2 of them puts you in the range that I run, between 8 and 12 times turnover per hour. Should be excellent filtration as long as your cycle is stable.
I like running two filters at the minimum flow rates for redundancy. That way if one fails, the other can limp you along until you get the other fixed/replaced.
